WaterSound
WaterSound
is a secluded, seaside village on
more than one mile of northwest Florida's white-sand beach along Scenic 30-A. The
town plan, designed by Robert A. M. Stern, features walking
paths, dune walkovers, parks, a beach club and recreational
facilities blended into a quiet community of single-family
homesites, townhomes and multi-family residences. The architecture
and programming at WaterSound were based on the area's rich
maritime history. This new community was planned on 256
acres. WaterSound includes a BeachClub, tennis center
and
nature trails along a rare 80-acre coastal dune lake.
