Enjoy
a day with bengal tigers, snow leopards, monkeys, other
primates, snakes and all kinds of reptiles at ZooWorld
Zoological & Botanical
Park. The zoo is home to more than 275
exotic and endangered animals, in a lush tropical landscape
featuring more than 250 species of plants and trees.
Lions, tigers, and bears along with monkeys, alligators,
camels, giraffes, reptiles, exotic birds, orangutans,
and jaguars are all part
of this entertaining and educational
experience. ZooWorld is an active participant in The Species
Survival Plan. Zoologists established The Species
Survival Plan in 1980. It is a global concern dedicated
to protecting the world's most severely endangered
animal species. Open year-round.
. Private "bedrooms" with glass fronts
allow all staff interaction, feeding, and general care of
our infants to be easily observed. Eight different endangered
or threatened species have been born at the park in recent
years including five African lion cubs, one Summatran Tiger
as well as three Mandrills (a type of baboon). Children
will love to get close to the animals in the park’s
Gentle Jungle Petting Zoo.

Gulf
World Marine Park, a Panama City Beach landmark since 1969,
is one of Florida's top Marine attractions.
Gulf World features five shows, many exhibits and offers
an action packed day that will long be remembered.
Acrobatic and energetic
performances by Gulf World's bottlenosed dolphins will delight
children and adults. The new million-gallon Dolphin Habitat
hosts SplashMagic, the park's exciting nighttime laser light
show. Observe the cockatoos, macaws, flamingos, iguanas, jungle
foliage, fountains and waterfalls in a visit to the Tropical
Gardens.
Get up close and personal. The Swim-With-Dolphins program that allows guests
(ages 5 and up and minimum 48 inches tall ) to get in the
water with these beautiful marine mammals, and even to swim
with them if they choose.
Dolphins are found
throughout Panama City Beach waters, but there's only one way to legally have
contact with them. That's by visiting Gulf World Marine Park
and signing up for one of their Dolphin Encounter or Trainer-for-a-Day
programs. Over the years the park has grown in size, shows,
and exhibits. A recently completed expansion and remodeling
added to the attraction of one the area's oldest and best
known entertainment complexes.
The park is a destination in itself,
the kind of place you can spend an entire day exploring.
There are displays of exotic sea life from the Gulf of Mexico
and wildlife from all over the globe, a one-of-a-kind "SplashMagic"
laser light show, and an Elvis tribute performance by
Todd Herendeen and the Follow That Dream Band! Interspersed
throughout the rambling park are theaters, tropical gardens,
hands-on animal exhibits, and an underwater scuba show. The
theaters: one for sea lions, one for the underwater show,
another for the parrot show, and the state-of-the-art dolphin
habitat - all offer excellent vantage points to see the performances.
Listen to the dolphins.
